Cardlock Agreement

  1. I agree that I am responsible for the card(s) and must return the card(s) at any time upon demand. must notify British Empire Fuels Inc. promptly if the card(s) are lost, damaged or stolen.
  2. I agree to accept full responsibility for all charges entered against the card(s) until returned to British Empire Fuels Inc. or notified that the card(s) are lost or stolen.
  3. I agree that I am to pay for my purchases in full by the 15th of the following month for any purchases during the preceding month. If payment is not received by the 15th, this will justify deactivation of the card(s) until the balance is paid in full.
  4. I agree to permit only responsible adult persons, who have been instructed in the operation of the equipment and procedures necessary for the safe handling of petroleum products to utilize the dispensing equipment. I agree that the user's name will be given to British Empire Fuels Inc. by the person signing this agreement and that the user will then be trained by a British Empire Fuels Inc. staff member on equipment operation and safety. This user will also sign and date the agreement when training is completed.
  5. I agree that the user will follow all fueling procedures and regulations as posted.

PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS:

    1. NO SMOKING while on the premise of British Empire Fuels Inc. or while fueling any motor vehicle.
    2. Shut off all vehicles while fueling.
    3. Do not block the dispenser nozzle.
    4. Dispenser nozzles must be always attended to while fueling.
    5. Keep fueling hoses from the travelled portion of the driveway when finished fueling.
    6. Maximum speed in the yard is 15 km / hr.
    7. SPILLS OR OVERFILLS OF DISTILLATES OR GAS MUST BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY TO THE OFFICE. IF THE OFFICE IS CLOSED CALL 705-738-2121 TO REPORT THE INCIDENT. THE NUMBER IS POSTED ON THE CARDLOCK KIOSK.
    8. LARGE RED EMERGENCY SHUT OFF BUTTONS ARE LOCATED ON THE CARDLOCK KIOSK AND THE POST TO THE RIGHT OF THE PUMPS BY THE BLUE LIGHT.
